Well, the Mayan Apocalypse has come and gone, and without so much as a slight case of indigestion, I'd say it's fair to start planning for the future again. A future that includes getting your butt to see a Pistons game this year.
If you haven't decided where or when to support your favorite team, let me suggest Tuesday, January 22 in Orlando, Florida. I know, I know, it's a ways from Michigan. But we have fans from all over the country (not to mention the globe), so why not make a "trip" out of it? Catch a quick flight, a 20 minutes cab ride to the arena, followed by a rousing game roundball between the Pistons and Magic at 7:30PM? Who knows, you might even see a win for the Bull-Moose party.
Let me say that I did get my last tickets to the game in November for about $8 a piece, so it's unlikely this game is going to deplete your savings account. In fact, you might be able to come up with the cash by looking in your couch cushions. So chime in below if you're interested in attending. I'm happy to handle ticket purchases myself, and the location for the seats can be negotiated. Casa de Big Z can be used as an overnight crash-pad for anywhere between 2 and 25 people depending on how friendly we all get at the game and on my lengthy screening process (honey, can my friends stay over... PLEASE?????).
