AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – The Detroit Pistons announced today that internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter, rapper and producer Flo Rida (pronounced Flow Ride-a) will perform during halftime when the Detroit Pistons host Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen and the Boston Celtics on Sunday, February 19 at The Palace of Auburn Hills (6:00 p.m.).
Flo Rida’s appearance at The Palace comes on the heels of his single "Good Feeling" currently sitting at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100. The hit samples "Levels" by Avicii, which samples the late Etta James’ "Something’s Got a Hold on Me". Following James’ death on January 20, 2012, Flo Rida dedicated the song in her memory. "Good Feeling" has also topped the charts in Austria, Germany, Scotland and the UK.
