Vincent Goodwill at the Detroit News gives his own perspective on the story of Ben Wallace and some of the more recent motivating factors on the day of what could be his last NBA game. Apparently, Laurence Frank told Big Ben he may not even dress for games this year and that, predictably, pissed Ben off but also continued to motivate him to prove to Frank he deserved to play. Ben also confirms what most of us already figured out: the reason he wasn't a Piston for life was as much about Flip Saunders as it was about money. If you're a Big Ben enthusiast (if you're not, GTFO), then this is a very interesting read.
