One thing JoD does not to do to ofen is target a certain player regardless of what the team needs. Last year Brandon Knight fell to Detroit and he was happy to take him even though they had not done a ton of home work on him. Better to be lucky then good I think is how JoD put it. The problem is there was a K Faried out there and he is exactly what they needed but they did not make any attempt to get him i.e. trade back into the first round and pick him. JoD tends to sit back and wait with a let's see what happens attitude so I don't see him getting fancy this year. All though I really would like to see him do exactly that. The Spurs on the other hand are more proactive then Detroit last year they like Kawhi Leonard and the Spurs made a move to get him. A few guys I like that I think Detroit should try to get back into the first round and draft are John Henson, Royce White, Draymond Green, or Festus Ezeli. Maybe some of you think we should draft Henson in the lottery, that won't happen unless everybody else thinks he should be drafted higher otherwise I don't see us drafting him. JoD will pass on him just like he did on Kenneth Faried (still a little bitter). Now I would like to see what DBB think.......
