Oops. Steve Mitchell-US PRESSWIRE
Tonight's 2012 NBA playoff slate is light with only two games on the schedule -- not that the majority of us (or at least me) have access to the NBA TV ghetto anyway. Tonight's games include what might end up being the playoff's least competitive and most competitive series. I'm sure you can tell which is which.
So what does tonight's games have in store for us?
Miami Heat vs. New York Knicks -- TNT (7 p.m.)
Heat leads 2-0
Another first-round game another probable victory for the Heat. The Knicks will be without Amare Stoudemire tonight as he went Office Space all over a fire extinguisher case. Already being down Jeremy Lin and Iman Shumpert, the Knicks are turning into the one-man show that Carmelo Anthony always secretly wanted. Too bad it might lead him and his team to a blowout loss tonight. But at least the slow-motion train wreck that is the Anthony-Amare Knicks are fun to rubberneck at.
Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Dallas Mavericks -- TNT (9:30 p.m.)
Thunder lead 2-0
There have been two amazing nail-biters in this series but unfortunately for the defending champs, the Mavericks have been on the losing side both times. This is pretty much a must-win game for the Mavs and I expect them to treat it as such.
