In all the trade senaios! Sixers intrigued by Drummond - possible Pistons trade?

Lets assume we 1) don't want Drummond, 2) don't want Henson, and 3) would be better suited trading back in the 1st round. Now lets assume that Drummond somehow falls to us at 9. According to Alex Kennedy's twitter feed, the Sixers could be looking to move up in the draft to make a play for Drummond. So here's a thought:

Pistons send the Sixers Tayshaun + Ben Gordon + #9 for Andre Iguodola and the #15 draft pick in this year's 2012 draft.

Why Philadelphia does this trade: If I'm Philly, then I'm remembering just how the savvy veteran leadership of a guy like Tayshaun Prince led us to a championship in 2004. I'm also remembering that Evan Turner could log considerable minutes at the 3 and that they're in desperate need of some volume scoring. While Ben Gordon's contract isn't the most appealing, Philly is already rumoured to consider giving Iggy up for a chance to bring in more scoring power and if the move also nets them a Centre that they're keen on, so be it. To sweeten the deal, the Pistons could even consider throwing in a future 1st rounder or if they're really smart, they've already traded for a late 1st rounder in 2012 and are willing to part ways with it to get the deal done.

Why Detroit does this trade: Wait so you're saying we can move two horrendous contracts, acquire a SF who shot almost 40% from beyond the arc, averaged 6 boards, 5 assists, and still threw up 12.4 a game...and we'd even get to draft #15? I think that is pretty self-explanatory.

Chances of this Trade Happening: Never. No I am not saying there is a chance by even posing the question Lloyd, there is literally no chance that a gal like JoD and a guy like Rod will ever get together...not even 1 in a million.

But hey, its fun to think about right?
