Hello all, if you can't tell, my name is Gene. I've been a lurker for a few years and commenting since the end of the lockout. Because of school and such I haven't been able to participate as much as I would like. But, now that I am graduated ( B.S in history) and starting my adult job I plan on being a regular.

A bit about me. I was born in Michigan, right before the Bad Boy days started. My dad instilled in me a deep hatred of all things Boston, Chicago and Los Angeles ( Except for Magic). I fell away during the Teal era, and started paying attention again around 2002. I lived in Saginaw when they won the '04 title and I have never seen a town be that happy over anything. Moved to Tennessee for school and kind of stopped paying attention to the Pistons, since I was basically a bandwagon asscat.

Then, while I was searching the Michigan sports blogs, I noticed DBB. I clicked on it, and started reading. I haven't stopped since. Because of all you guys I am a bigger Piston fan than I was when I was living in state, , and I am the Piston expert in my Peer Group.
