So sure...we just bought him out of his contract not even a year ago...and yeah, he was arguably one of the worst offenders during Kuester's final season, but here goes nothing...The Bulls are trying to move Hamilton's $5M expiring contract most likely in an effort to improve their SG position or well because they realized that signing him was a bad idea. So here's the ridiculous question of the day:
Shinons* and I would of course both vote "Yes" as it would remove at least 1 SF from our squad, give us some added depth in the backcourt, and clear up one additional roster spot to potentially retain Macklin and re-sign Ben Wallace...not to mention Chicago's 2013 1st rounder could be anywhere from mid to late first round and another $5M in expiring contracts would give us a better shot at snatching up a number of RFA's in 2013 with the marquee players being Serge Ibaka and James Harden.
Since they're already looking at moving Korver, Daye could step in as a much cheaper option for spot up 3 PT shooting and Bynum would give them some temporary depth at PG for 1 season even if they're still looking to get Hinrich.
