I suppose I might be the only one basketball-deprived enough to watch and pay close attention to each and every game in the Las Vegas Summer League but I'm guessing that's not the case. Whether its watching Art Parakhouski put together a nice summer league in limited minutes, or catching Thomas Robinson dish out 5.5 turnovers while missing 67% of his field goal attempts, I want to see it, analyze it, and ultimately post about it on DBB.
The past few days I've OT'd other threads, so I figured it was high time I just create the thread that will give us all the forum to call out some of the things we've liked or been surprised by with the LVSL. I'll start:
Art Parakhouski - A surprise to his #1 fan, I had no idea that he was starting for the Knicks Summer League team until Mike Payne pointed it out a few days back. In two games, he's put together some respectable numbers despite only playing 15-20 minutes a game. In the limited minutes I've watched of him, he's shown a solid motor, reasonable touch around the rim, and most importantly a good understanding of offensive flow.
Jae Crowder - Today he put up 15 points, 4 boards, 2 assists, a steal and a blocked shot while shooting a respectable 5-12 from the field and 2-4 from beyond the arc.
Keith Benson - Was averaging a solid 20 points/6 boards/and a block before playing only 7 minutes in his game today.
NOW YOUR THOUGHTS!
