Didn't it seem weird that we went through 4 draft picks without one combo guard? Doesn't it seem weird that (if only for a moment) our guard line up actually make sense? Have you noticed a lack of discussion about Terrence Williams' ability to play. It all seems a little convenient does it?
Terrence Williams, 6'6" 220, listed as Forward on Basketball-Reference.com, certainly blends in as one of our 48 other Small Forwards, doesn't he?
What if I told you that in his last season he had more Assists and higher AST % than Brandon Knight?
What if I told you that he played point guard in some games his rookie year?
What if I told you that his coach during his rookie year where he played those games was Lawrence Frank, who said the following:
"All indications are that Terrence Williams is going to be a good player. He's also going to allow us to move Devin around in different spots.
What if I told you the Langlois is basically describing how Williams is playing as a point guard:
Getting ready to run 5 on 5. W/out PGs here (BK7, Stuckey, Bynum) it's Flynn vs. Williams head to head.
Interested to see where Williams lines up at camp, especially if he gets any minutes at PG. LFrank had him in NJ, loves his vision. - link
While a lot of people have Terrence penciled in at SF, it seems like Williams is satisfying Joe Dumars other obsession...
