Okay I admit this is embarrassing. I was going through my old computer junk, sort of thinning out the weeds. Lo and behold I found the Darko embossed rookie card that I had purchased years ago. I had entirely forgotten about it, (can you blame me) but there it was in pristine condition.
Anyway I checked around the Net to see what little value it may have. I found one of his rookie cards selling for $3.95 but I don't know what kind of grade it is or what grade the one I have is. I don't think it's worth the trouble to try and sell. I can't send it to Darko since he remains unsigned and I wouldn't know how to reach him.
So the question is. What should I do with it? I could just keep it and display it. It is actually a very nice looking card and the photo is of him dunking. I really don't want to just put it away .
So I need some help to decide what to do with it. Should I display it or should I trash it? Somehow just throwing it in the trash without destroying it first doesn't seem right. So if I should destroy it, should I cut it up, burn it (burning plastic does not smell to good and could be dangerous) or destroy it by some other means? Should I mail it to Dumars with a note saying "Thank you?" Maybe I should mail it to Larry Brown with a note saying "Playing the right way" Or possibly I could attach it to the front of a dart board? (I would have to buy one first)
I really need help with this so let me know what you guys think I should do with my Darko embossed rookie card.
All suggestions will be carefully considered. After I decide I will post the winning suggestion.
If one of you want the card I will be willing to mail it to you. If more than one wants it I will open it up to bidding. TLOL
