As a faithful Detroit Pistons fan, I've been trying to find ways this team could be better. So I came up with the trade scenario that sends Rodney Stuckey, Charlie V., & Greg Monroe to New York for Carmelo & Shumpert. I too share the feelings of not wanting to trade Monroe, but with the money most teams have to throw at the Summer of Lebron/Carmelo, the losing teams will have money to outbid us on Greg Monroe. Is it better to trade in order to obtain this pure scorer and right the wrongs of the past by not drafting Melo? I'm sick and tired of seeing Josh Smith lodge bricks from the outside because he feels the added pressure to fulfill his small forward duties.
