So, I'm pretty sure I've mentioned this before on here but I got a shelter dog about 6 months ago. He's a pit/lab mix and a huge baby to boot, probably about a year and a half old.
All that aside, I'm looking for advice from the experienced. Dog has anxiety issues. We'll leave the house for any amount of time and he'll start chewing up whatever he can reach. When we first got him, he did the same thing and we figured with time he'd get better as he got used to the environment (being a shelter dog and all). He did stop for a few weeks if not longer and now he's started right back up. I'm fairly convinced it's anxiety (he's a very high strung dog).
Any helpful tips from my fellow "dads?" Anything will help. Also, show us your pups. I like to say "awwwwwwwww."
This is Sarge. He's a baby.
