Brandon Knight injury: Guard hyperextends right knee, listed day to day

Brandon Knight suffered a hyperextended right knee on Feb. 20 after Kemba Walker fell on it during a game. The injury isn't considered serious -- he initially returned to the game and attempted to play through it -- but he's considered day to day.

Brandon Knight's MRI negative

Brandon Knight had an MRI on Saturday on his hyperextended right knee. He has been listed as day to day and the MRI has been called precautionary. The results came back and the MRI was negative, meaning it didn't show any signs of structural damage to the knee. There has been no result on his playing status for tonight's game against the Pacers but just because results are negative doesn't necessarily mean Knight is feeling well enough to play.

Going for a loose ball late in the third quarter of Wednesday night's win, Kemba Walker fell on Brandon Knight's right leg. Despite suffering a hyperextended knee, Knight returned briefly in the fourth quarter, but had to be replaced after being injured again.
