2013 NBA Free Agency: Raptors call Pistons' offer "lowball" for Rudy Gay

Breathe easy. It looks like Rudy Gay won't be coming to Detroit any time soon.

If you're like me, you're wondering how a small forward who fails to differentiate himself from the league average at his position in just about every statistical category could possibly help the Pistons, especially when he's grossly overpaid, and the Pistons have young, cheap players who can do the same thing for a lot less.

Well, it appears as though we can relax.* Per Ryan Wolstat on Twitter:

*At least until the next round of Twitter rumors sends us into a speculative frenzy where we question whether or not Joe Dumars really has any clue what he's doing, and begin worrying that Greg Monroe or Andre Drummond could be the next trade chip on the table.
