Pistons preseason schedule announced

USA TODAY Sports

Detroit opens against International powerhouse Maccabi Haifa, plays Heat, Wizards, Timberwolves at home

The Detroit Pistons have released the preseason schedule, which features eight games, with all four home games held at The Palace of Auburn Hills.

Tickets go on sale beginning 10 a.m. Aug. 17.  Tickets can be purchased at the Palace Box Office (248-377-0100), online at www.pistons.com and at all TicketMaster outlets.

Television and radio broadcast schedule for all preseason games will be announced at a later date, according to the team.

My first reaction: It sure would be fun to see a raucous crowd boo LeBron James and the Miami Heat during a preseason basketball game.
