Surprise, surprise. J Smoove's picture leads the article.
Kirk Goldsbery of Grantland, after looking at the five best shooters in the NBA, took a look at the five worst. No current Detroit players made it onto the most efficient shooters list, though two former Pistons did. You might remember Arron Afflalo and Jose Calderon. They're having pretty good years. LeBron James, Dirk Nowitzki, and Wes Matthews round out the top five.
Unfortunately (or fortunately if you like national attention on the team), Detroit does have a representative among the worst shooters. Josh Smith gets a nice little section all to himself, featuring that last second airball against the Knicks. Goldsberry still holds out some small hope that Smith could become a good player, if he focused on rebounding, driving the lane, and scoring in the post. Obviously that hasn't happened in Detroit. The other four terrible shooters are Tyreke Evans, Tony Wroten, Victor Oladipo, and Michael Carter-Williams. Brandon Jennings and Ramon Sessions, among others, merit runner-up status.
