ESPN Insider: Josh Smith for Arron Afflalo?

Makes you smile just reading that headline, doesn't it?

Writer Joe Kaiser admits it's "pure speculation," so don't get too excited, but he highlights the Pistons as a team that could (should?) be on the short list of suitors (also including Charlotte, Atlanta, Oklahoma City & Boston) for Afflalo:

"The Josh Smith signing has been a disaster thus far in Detroit, and if the Pistons look to unload him there may not be a better fit than the young and athletic Orlando team. A package of Afflalo and Glen Davis could get the deal done, helping Detroit get out from the four-year pact with Smith, and giving the Magic a borderline All-Star in its frontcourt for the next 3.5 seasons."

I know DBB have fantasized about this trade for some time, but it's good to see "insiders" talking about it as a possibility.

I guess we can continue to dream for a while...
