My initial guess is no, but i would literally give my left nut to have Kyrie and Drummond on the same team. Mainly, because even though the Cavs are bad, they have a ton of good players with really good potential. Meanwhile, we have the NBA's who's who of terrible contracts. But just for funsies, what would it take to get Kyrie on the Pistons?
Here is my best guess:
CV+Moose+KCP+ 2015 1st round pick
Irving+Bennett+2014 2nd rounder
I want to keep Moose and there are very few players I would give him up for. Kyrie is one of those players. In this trade, Cavs are getting probably 3 out of our 5 best assets, as well as, an expiring contract. We get Irving and (so far) bust in Tony Bennett. I think Bennett can develop into a serviceable "stretch 4" to play along with Drummond in the future.
Chances are the Cavs will be stupid enough to keep Irving and hope he magically falls in love with Cleveland and get burned (again). Im not even sure that Kyrie would even want to play in Detroit, but I think the idea of playing with Dre is pretty attractive.
Im not sure, what do you guys think?
