Once again, I will preface this with saying take it for what it's worth. I have a very good friend who has another very good friend who works in the NBA offices. It seems as if there was almost a three-team deal that was agreed upon and just recently backed out by one team. The Pistons were going to trade Josh Smith, get back Eric Gordon from New Orleans, and Houston was also involved giving up Omar Asik. Josh Smith was going to Houston and Asik was going to New Orleans. I didn't ask what else was involved, but was told that Houston backed out at the last second....rats!
