Breaking news that money-thief Rodney Stuckey has signed a 1 year deal with the Indiana Pacers. This means that we will still be seeing him 4 times a year in divisional play, but there must be some feeling of regret in Indiana's end. They lose Lance Stephenson, and replace him with Stuckey and C.J. Miles, not exactly worldbeaters.
There are some Indiana fans who feel that this is a good move for Indiana, and they obviously did not see any Pistons games at all last season, otherwise they would be fishing around for the receipt and trying to take back the contract. Stuckey is coming off a so-so season, averaging 13.9ppg and 2.1apg in 26.7mpg (least since rookie year). He also shot .273 from 3, not great, Smith-like numbers. Now, what is the prediction for Indiana, who have arguably weakened since last season, and will they be up near the top like last season, or will the Pistons improve over them.
On another note, does anyone think Charlie Villanueva will get a contract. In this craziness of free agency, I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up on the bench of a contender, although if he wins a ring it might be enough to make me cry. Charlie Villanueva deserves a ring just as much as Darko Milicic deserved his.
