In the first episode of the Detroit Bad Boys Podcast, Matt Watson and Sean Corp discuss the Sacramento Kings' interest in Josh Smith, how Stan Van Gundy might rebuild Smith's value and what the Pistons' rotation could look like if Smith, Greg Monroe and Andre Drummond all return.
They also spend too much time talking about LeBron James' homecoming to the Cavaliers (sorry), what it means for the rest of the Central Division and whether the Pistons should expect to compete for a playoff spot in the suddenly competitive Eastern Conference. Boring meta side note: We've wanted to start a podcast for a long time and decided to finally just dive in. That said, we still have a lot to learn -- both from a production standpoint (yes, I can hear that echo midway through the episode, and yes, that's my fault and not Sean's) as well as training myself not to say "um" 20 times a sentence. But perfect is the enemy of good, so please suffer along with us while we figure this out, and hopefully we can entertain you and spark some discussion.
