[...] Lindsey’s performance, amazingly adequate as it was, paled in comparison to the continued resurgence of Antonio McDyess, who with 18 points (on 9-12 shooting), 7 boards, 3 assists, and a block continues to have his best statistical month of the season. I’m convinced that Dyess has sold his soul to Damon Jones, because his play of late has been beyond inspired. Not only is his shooting back up over 50% for the season (after shooting only 37% for the month of November, and facing an uphill climb ever since), but he has been a much more intimidating presence inside. It is no longer the case that the team suffers on D when Ben Wallace sits. And lately, given Ben’s forced attempts at offense, I’m not sure the team doesn’t gain a bit when Dyess steps to the floor.
With all these barbs through in Damon Jones' direction, I'm surprised no one has brought this up: dude's a former Piston. Granted, for that matter, he's also a former Celtic, Buck, Grizzly, Heat, King and Net...

Once again, Sheed makes the Daily Dime Quote of the Day:
"We get three, four, five technicals, but all we do is win. And that's the ultimate spit in the face."
-- Detroit Pistons forward Rasheed Wallace, who got a T after tangling with Zydrunas Ilgauskas. Cavaliers fans booed Wallace loudly during the pre-game introductions and nearly every time he touched the ball. One sign read, "Rasheed Must Bleed!"

I don't want to hear a peep about that tech, even in a quick funny blurb, without also hearing that it was garbage.

imo, the refs were starting to take the game a little into their own hands that first half. i think the stat somewhere in the second quarter, free throws-wise, was pistons 2-2, cavs 13-15 or something like that. The pistons weren't getting calls unless the refs absolutely had to call them (there was a foul on prince during a rebound that comes to mind). on the other hand, the pistons were getting penalized for just about anything... or nothing. does anybody know what that tech on mcdyess was even for?

Speaking of Sheed, I could not believe that he got T'd up for laughing after big Z took him down in the first half. He is getting techs solely based upon reputation these days, and it is going to cost the Pistons when he's suspended.

Hopefully, after review, the NBA rescinds this one as the did his last one.

I loved the contrast in the faces of Sheed and LeBron. Sheed was laughing most of the night, having a ball, and LeBron looked tired and frustrated.
