Praise for Detroit Bad Boys:

Jason Blair - DBB has done wonders for my new career in sports journalism.

Stephen Glass - I've never even heard of Detroit Bad Boys. Why? What are you talking about?

there certainly seem to be a lot of coincidences lately. did anyone see v for vendetta? something about not believing in coincidences...

i think what bothers me most is that good bloggers are all about giving credit- linking to other sites, both blogs and mainstream, but it appears that a lot of the mainstream -even the blogging mainstream- isn't so keen on that.

What sloppy journalism, probably because Gerstner and Wakiji thought no one would care since the posts were on their "blog." But, put it this way.... I've been enjoying reading your "blog" coverage of the Stones far more than the "real" Det News and Free Press. Keep up the good work. The more the mainstream media (e.g., ESPN Radio and Sports Illustrateds of the world) keep lifting stuff from bloggers, the more it becomes clear that the so-called "editorial standards" espoused by journalists is bs. And the online community needs to keep calling out journalists when they do this, because the newspapers and radio hosts are obviously not able to police themselves.
