I didn’t watch much of the post-game interviews so I missed this, but Need 4 Sheed has the video: Rasheed Wallace told reporters after the game that this is now a five-game series. He didn’t use the word “guarantee,” but it’s close enough for me.

What did he “guaranshee”?
That he’d show up for game 4?
That he’d spend more time playing D than bitching about foul calls?
Whatever he has to do to get fired up, I’m all for it.
(I was bitching at the TV about those foul calls in the fourth more than Sheed was at the refs, though. That was an odd stretch — it’s like the refs just decided, “hey, let’s make it interesting and put Cleveland in the bonus.”)
I’m just glad to see the Pistons playing the Cavs so that I can see the games in Nor-Cali on national T.V.
& I agree Matt about the foul calls in the 4th. Did someone call in the Wizards of westwood?

Are you forgetting that immediately preceeding Rasheed’s fouls, Chauncey had drawn questionable fouls on four straight possessions?
I didn’t think all of Chauncey’s fouls were as ticky-tack. But even so, I hate to see the refs grab control of the game. I would have traded Chauncey’s fouls for a more “let ‘em play” attitude from the refs — it just ruins any chance to get into a rhythm.
