In college he forced the NCAA to put in a rule against another trick ... taking a running start and dunking from the foul line! Rick Barry attempted to convert a few teammates. His one success was a pretty good 6'11" shot blocker named George Johnson. Wilt Chamberlain, who tried pretty much everything at one point or another, actually stood off-center at the line and tried to bank them in. Seems like it would be easier to aim for the square on the backboard, and if you can hit that, the chances are pretty good that the ball is going in. Big Ben is a different matter; actually, I can see him trying it under a WTF?...might as well....& if it works; what the hell, he might keep it up; I'd take him shooting 60 % anytime(go granny! Big Ben!) I'd be shocked if Shaq did it - the teasing would be more than the Big Egostotle could handle. I doubt Ben would either, but it's an interesting idea.
