As reported in today’s Free Press, Piston fans will have at least one preseason matchup against the Heat to hone their hatred of the Heat before the start of the ‘07 regular season. The Boys in Blue and the NBA finals runner-up will square off in San Juan, Puerto Rico on October 10. Still no word as to which part of Dwyane Wade will be injured for that game (other than his “phonetic spelling,” that is).

Yes, now it’s the knee. So far, in the past year, we’ve seen: ribs, “flu-like symptoms”, and now the knee. Further, if the Heat lose, everyone is apparently legally obligated to mention the injury. “Except for Wade’s knee injury in the Finals last year, there is a good chance Miami would have come back and beaten Dallas.” If they win, of course, it is because of a heroic, almost superhuman effort by Wade to overcome his injuries. But, in the end, you don’t win if you hedge your bets, which is why I admire Joe D.’s “no excuses” stance. Why do I have this feeling that Riley is cringing inside every time Dwyane entertains the media with his latest bump or bruise?

Is wade even capable of playing basketball when he’s healthy? he always has these *great* games when he’s injured. i have yet to hear to of a great game with wade has nothing on his body not hurting.

I just wanted to say sorry to the Pistons’ fans that are still mad about me beating them. Need4Sheed says my DWade shoes look like clown shoes when I wear my pantyhoes with them…that’s going to add another injury to the list…bruised ego!
