    Very good article.
I’ll admit that I secretly hoped that JoeD losing Ben Wallace would prove out as a smart move.

The coolest thing ever would be of Ben longed to come back home to Detroit and the Bulls were to decide that he just isn’t a good fit for their team.

Then the Pistons could get him back in a Nazr/Delfino deal. The fans would go nuts. I thik Detroit could easily forgive Ben his moment of greed and short sightedness and welcome him back.

The Pistons would be electrified. Ben would become re-energized. Think of Ben in the middle with Maxiel coming in for relief. Ben could easily stretch out 3 above average seasons mentoring Maxi, who is the heir apparent for the Pistons center position.

Heck… it might even make Chauncey decide that he’d be crazy to leave the team for more money next year. It’d be perfect.
