[...] So there we have it, the Pistons are on a two-game slide, dropping games they had ample opportunity to win on both nights. It didn't happen much last year, but anyone who's watched the NBA for very long knows that teams have weeks like this. The Pistons have gone 15-5 in their last 20, and four of those losses (Charlotte, Portland, New York, this one) are games I'm convinced Detroit either should have won or very easily could have won 1 — if you can get past the frustration, that's not a bad early-season body of work.
[...] Whew… This one might have been a loss earlier in the season — that is, if close defeats at home to the Hornets and Blazers are any indication. As it is, Chauncey Billups' ability to shake off a forgettable night and drain two huge free throws — and Rasheed Wallace being the beneficiary of a questionable no-call — allowed the Pistons to escape with the 92-91 victory over the Nets.
[...] If Tuesday's loss to the Blazers was significant enough to warrant the negativity that resulted (mostly from me, mind you), then last night's 92-82 victory in Dallas merits a momentary standing O. [...]

I almost wish they hadn't won in '04. They've felt "entitled" ever since then.

But it's good to hear that Shaq's got skills like Mr. Miyagi.

This is now a lazy team, it is official my friends. Rasheed, Antonio and Billups need to sit on the benches until they can regain some of the fires in previous years.

I like Nazr and think they need to show him some love and not wrap him in cotton wool when he gets the 3 fouls.

C'mon pistons show us the fire and flames!!!
