Pistons search for momentum in Dallas

Dirk Nowitzki

So much for that eight-game winning streak, eh? In the midst of a two-game slide, the Pistons head into perhaps their most challenging portion of the schedule yet by kicking off a four-game road trip tonight in Dallas (8pm, TNT).

As usual, leave your pre-,in-, and post-game thoughts in the comments.

Can we please see Maxiell instead of Davis, a little more of Delfino in the 2 - spot, and that pathetic look off of Saunders face. Saunders looks like he just got word that his child is missing. IT’S HORRIBLE. Oh well, GO PISTONS!!!!

There are a ton of seats open at this game too……. what is going on?

Guess it’s not just a ‘Detroit’ thing.
Perhaps people aren’t all that interested in watching a bunch of emotionless robots in a free throw shooting contest…

No seriously…Early in the season I think… NCAA football is just winding down… NFL is getting down to the nitty gritty… I dunno.

Seats seem to be filling up as we get into the second quarter.

Who else is loving the Wade/Barkley ccommercials for T-Mobile?

Some really sloppy basketball…. starting by a Flip block on Dirk?!?!?

Good win, good win. Loved the Dice pass to Delfino for the slamdown. Loved the Billups steals in the 4th quarter to quiet the crowd. Loved the long pass from Chauncey for a huge jam by Tayshaun. Nice all the way around.

Also: Why does the faceless TNT announcer sound like he’s got charcoal stuck in his throat?

Great game. Thumbs dunking from Dice was sooo nice. Even public enemy number 1 flip murray played alright.

But, the real winner last night was the zone defense. Even when they were playing man, it was a kind of hybrid zone. Dallas had no idea how to attack it. It’s going to get harder and harder for players to hate on the zone after a quality win like that.

Let’s talk about talk about the Delfino dunk some more though…. sweet.
