Wednesday’s loss to the Pacers doesn’t deserve a lengthy analysis — it was out and out ugly. But you know what? It seems like much of the season has been like that, too. From my rant on the NBA FanHouse:
Watching the Pistons has not been fun this year. There. Someone had to say it.
I’m not even talking about this year compared to last year. I’m talking about the fact that, 13-8 record notwithstanding, the Pistons always seem to be playing from behind. I’m serious. When they win, they win in the fourth quarter. I want someone at 82games.com, Knickerblogger.net, or PopcornMachine.net (give me one season-long Game Flow) to crunch some numbers and tell me: how many minutes has this team been up and how many minutes has this team been behind.
Head over there to read the rest of my post. Am I overreacting or hitting the nail on the head? Let’s hear it in the comments.

Nailed it. The energy off the bench was nice. But a little energy out of the starters would be better.
the flipification of the Pistons is nearing completion. we are a soft defensive team with no heart. our leader is sooooo cool they call him the mayor. he is friends with everybody in the league and he has no rivals. we still think are the team to beat. somebody wake up the Lionhearted Pistons.
Ohhh wait. We let the only warrior we had leave.
We will be Lucky, very lucky to win the Central this year. Without a major trade this is a first round playoff loss team.
NO HEART.
sorry. it’s not fun to watch because WE CARE MORE THAN THEY DO.
Flipification - not in my dictionary - wait a sec, there it is, with a picture.
The PACERS.
