The first time I appeared on Sports Bloggers Live was last December, just a few months after I launched DBB. I was the odd man out on a show that included a writer from Sports Illustrated, a Hollywood actor and an Olympic gold medal winner, which made me appreciate the opportunity all the more. Today, Jamie Mottram, the show’s creator and host, made a bittersweet announcement about SBL’s future.

Thanks for the post, Matt. The episode of SBL that you were a guest on is a perfect example of why the show was so unique. Our guests came from all walks of the sporting life, but it was the bloggers like yourself that I always enjoyed the most. Thanks for being a part of it.
