Pistons seek revenge on Pacers

The Pistons will try to put Wednesday’s marathon loss to the Knicks behind them with a match at the Palace against the Pacers. If you remember, the first game against the Pacers was downright ugly, but the Pistons have posted a 5-1 record since then. The Pacers are still inconsistent as hell but have managed to keep their heads above water with a 16-14 record. They’re 7-10 on the road, though, so here’s to hoping the Pistons get their revenge.

That Blalock pass to Maxiell in traffic that got turned over was the first bad pass I’ve seen him make thus far. Meanwhile, I’ve lost count of Flip’s.

1st qtr: Fast start. Okay, they’re doing alright.
2nd qtr: Our cockiness probably took over.
3rd qtr: Did we even leave the locker room? Pathetic start, but nice finish. I saw life again.
4th qtr: MISSED FREE THROWS by Billups again cost us the game.

Do you realize how close we are from being on a 3 game skid? Love the bench play, except Flip.

Billups out 10 days up to 2 weeks. Damn.
We need Blalock to deliver a vintage Tayshaun-like playoff performance. No no, no Flip please.

So I recorded this game on my DVR and started to watch it tonight, only to find out it stopped recording right after Billups got helped off the court. After a quick run to the computer, I see they lost by one point.

I don’t know if I should be happy I missed the end or upset. By the looks of the video highlights on ESPN’s recap page, I think it was better off that way — at least it saved me from having to fish out my remote from the remains of my television screen.
