[...] But did you see Jason Maxiell? The kid has turned in some good performances this year but the day he finds out he got left out of the Sophomore-Rookie Challenge he decided he'd have himself another coming out party. In 25 minutes he scored 16 points with six boards, two blocks and a steal. His block on Antoine Wright was awe-inspiring, stopping a dunk in mid-air. Poor Wright helplessly crumpled to the ground like, well, someone just ate his baby. [...]

If Maxey was getting regular minutes, he would have been there; his DNP's and token minutes aren't helping the Pistons either.

With Rasheed's not-so-100% paw, and a probably best scenario plan to keep C-Webb between 25-30 minutes a game, there's no reason why J-Max shouldn't be playing 15-20 a night. (96-25-25-20-20=90... yep, that's about right) Keeping the veteran Bigs fresh, and gaining experience for the talented newbies will pay dividents come playoff time. Amir should also be suiting up, and getting a handful of regular minutes as well.
