The Pistons return to Rasheed Wallace’s former haunts in Portland tonight. The Blazers came into the Palace and squeaked out a close one earlier in the year, but the Pistons should be ready for them this time — provided, of course, Portland doesn’t break out the silly string.

I never thought I’d see a silly string fight involving Terry Porter and Buck Williams.
Wow.
I live in DC and watch games on LP. Does anyone who watches LP have a theory why it’s so pleasant to see games on opposing broadcasts? The past few games have been handled by the Sonics home crew and the FSN crew who normally cover the Blazers. These guys are pros! They will argue with bad calls - even those who goes against the Pistons! It’s completely different from those punks who do Cleveland broadcasts. What is it? Lack of rivalry? Laid back West Coast style?
Well Rob you have to remember that Cleveland was all over the “witness” thing with Lebron.
Yeah, I know. I guess it’s almost religious with them… King James can do no wrong. But these announcers in Portland are calling it real straight. Classy.
Actually, now that Portland is getting stomped, the announcers are starting in… “How can Rasheed yell at the refs?” “Why didn’t Delfino get a tech?” “Why can’t Roy get any calls?” So I take it back.
Ya delfino hanging on the rim wasnt tech worthy. He had to hang so he didn’t go flying. A couple players have hurt themselves letting go when they have alot of momentum.
Speaking of delfino, I wonder why hes wearing the elbow sleve now
He’s wearing the elbow sleeve because he’s sexy. He had a great game - it was good to see some production off the bench - 3 baby eatin’ blocks outta Max. Some nasty boards, too - just like ol’ Ben.
And that’s not to mention Tay’s still on fire.
Maybe it’s a “loaded” elbow sleeve of the Killer Brooks/Iron Mike Sharpe variety. When the ref looks the other way, BAM! Siesta time for some poor slob. Sheed can be the heel manager, creating distractions as needed.
