AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) -Chris Webber and Richard Hamilton missed the game against the Denver Nuggets on Monday night with flu-like symptoms.
With Will Blalock and Amir Johnson assigned to the NBDL, Webber was listed on Detroit’s active roster even though he hadn’t even come to the arena. Hamilton, who missed Sunday’s win in Milwaukee, also stayed home.
Backup guard Flip Murray was suffering from a similar illness, but the training staff was trying to get his fever down so that he could play.
Looks like someone with the AP is doing their best Mitch Albom impression, throwing the past-tense around for a game that hasn’t even started. In any case, like Q-Dog said, the silver lining is more time for Carlos Delfino and Jason Maxiell. The Nuggets like to get up and down the court in a hurry, so this should be a fun game to watch.

Good first quarter, Bad second quarter. Come on, we were up 15 and now we are down by 2. We can’t pass without it even getting intercepted. That was a sad way to go into halftime.
maybe the whole better to be down by 2 then up by 2 at halftime sayin will help us. lol
As much as i don’t want to, I have to give some credit to the Nuggets. Those were some crazy steals and inteceptions to end the 1st half. We are going to have to be a lot more careful in the 2nd half.
I’ll be glad when everyone is back. But I’d like to see for once they run a play for delfino. Just once.
Man did things get ugly quick. Turnovers are an anomaly with the Pistons, though; I’m not too worried.
My prediction: Pistons will continue to give Denver fast break points off turnovers in the 3rd only to come back from about 12 points down to win the game in the 4th. I don’t really think I’m going out on a limb here…
All those empty seats behind the benches and press row are killing me…
this is game is beyond winnable, they just need to watch the turnovers.

It seems like when ever we are down, nobody on our team really tries to get open. They just stand in the same spot watching whoever has the ball.
I wish I had a nickel for every time Blaha said, “Don’t look now but the Pistons trim it to (insert depressing number here)”

I like how FSN refuses to honor Nene’s legal name change to only have one name by referring to him as “Nene Hilario” on their on-screen graphics. Sometimes you have to take a stand in this world.
