Whether you love him or hate him, you always notice Andres Nocioni when he’s on the court, whether he’s throwing an elbow, flopping, getting dunked on, or (occasionally) hitting a jump shot. Apparently, he’s also something of a folk hero:
I wish I could provide some context, but all I know about that song is what I gleamed from this Blog-a-Bull diary, which consisted of nothing but a link to the mp3 (right-click that link if for some strange reason you wanted to download it). The link makes me think it originated from ESPN or an ESPN radio affiliate — I’ll give a nice, shiny Gold Star to the first commenter who can tell us what the hell the story is behind this song.
Update: Paxson Jackson informs us it’s from WMVP in Chicago. Good to know.
For other musical endeavors by and about the Bulls, don’t miss out on Ben Gordon’s rap video, also spotted first on Blog-a-Bull.

WMVP in Chicago. I’m declining the Gold Star.
That was quick — thank you much.
Did anyone see this line from the Oakland Press?
“The Pistons to take a 3-0 stranglehold over the Bulls tonight as their NBA Western Conference semifinal series shifts to Chicago for the next two games.”
I like the confidence, but since when did we switch to the Western Conference? Maybe someone decided we were too good for the much-criticized East?
Perhaps that’s a time-warped dispatch from the NBA future, year 3013, after the Great Flood when the peninsula of Michigan was unmoored from its current position and drifted out to present-day Montana. Oakland, now a thriving but hellish metropolis populated with Uplanders and pale-skinned Underlings, is the new home of the Pistons, who play basketball extremely well… with their minds.
Or, the simple explanation is, the folks at the Oakland Press are shitty journalists.
ESPN Deportes is showing Game 3! In Ecuador! No more sitting around waiting for nba.com to refresh…
