The Pistons are the topic of MJD’s always-excellent Debriefing column over at the FanHouse, and he comes up with the best metaphor I’ve seen for Flip Saunders, calling him “a kid in an arcade without a quarter. He was at the machine, he was pressing buttons and moving knobs, but the machine was doing its own thing.”
