I think going with an unknown would mean retooling the lineup. I have the same problem with Lloyd Carr. I really cant stand him but I realize he's good enough that you cant get rid of him without having a clearly better coach out there to hire or being groomed on the sidelines. Did Carlisle burn his bridges that badly? I understand he was a strict dude. Something this team seems to need. He at least seems like a poor mans Larry Brown, which has to be better that Saunders right?
