Lindsey Hunter says that he’s going to be a “player-coach type of guy … moreso coach.” I’ll be glad to have him around for one more year … but here’s to hoping he’s not coaching Rodney Stuckey on how to run the fast break.

I hate to say it because I’ve loved Lindsey for a very long time but as I’ve said before I still have nightmares of watching him try to go 1-5 vs Cleveland in game 5 repeatedly…
Your going to be a roster spot that could have been someone who’ll help us Lindsey… and it’s pretty sad that it’s come to this after all these years. If you wanted to coach you should have retired and taken a spot on the Piston’s staff… I’m sure it would have been there for you. Thanks for everything and nothing all at once Lindsey and enjoy your farewell tour at the team’s expense… you’ve certainly earned it even if I wish you hadn’t asked for it.
