We have a Darvin Ham sighting! After spending training camp with the Mavs, he was the third overall pick of Thursday’s NBDL draft.

I learned two things in this post.
1) Darvin Ham was drafted 3rd in the NBDL
2) The NBDL has a draft.
I thought the NBDL was entirely filled with free agents. It seems unfair to tie a player to one of the 14 D-league teams with draft rights in a developmental league. Part of developing is finding the best situation for yourself. Should you really have to move to Sioux Falls to get a $30,000 a year job playing basketball because of NBDL draft rules?
