This post is just an obvious attempt to drum up your hit-count by luring everyone who searches for "Antonio McDyess naked" on Google. Shame on you.

Assuming I'm remembering the same part of the game you're talking about, McDyess was shaken up when someone on the Jazz (I forget who) fell into McDyess' knee under the basket.

I googled "Neoprene + allergy" and found a bunch of mentions of the same kind of problem. Apparently it's a fairly common - it's more likely McDyess is allergic to the latex in the neoprene than neoprene itself. They have a variety of hypoallergic braces online if you do a search. McDyess and the Pistons training staff should explore finding a brace with hypoallergenic material if 'Dyess likes the support of a brace but wants to avoid the rash. See link for a knit M brace and check Collins Sports Medicine's list of shoulder braces.
