i vote for him every day. to say that any point guard in the east is better than him is nonsense. kidd, carter, jefferson is the most dissapointing threesome i’ve ever known in the nba. if kidd is better than chauncey right now, then i’ve been mistaken for quite some time as to what a point guard’s job is. triple doubles/winning games? i’ll vote for the floor general that wins over the stat machine that doesn’t.

As a fan, the All-Star game doesn’t mean that much to me– its not top conference seeding, its not an MVP trophy, its not a championship.

Its not my own pride as a Pistons fan that I’m campaigning for. I’m campaigning for the pride of our players. Do they really need that recognition? Probably not. Will it make our team better? No.

But I think Chauncey deserves it- it would be a nice “thank you” for what he’s given us in the past, for signing with us in this off-season, and for what he’ll give us in seasons to come.

I’m sorry, but who the **** really cares about the All-Star game?

My pride as a fan won’t be affected if we send four Pistons or none at all.

I usually agree with a lot you have to say DGirl, but worrying if your startes will burn out because they play in what is essentially a star-studded pick up game is ridiculous. That reasoning doesn’t make sense to me.

If that burns our guys out, we’d better start to worry.

Jason Kidd is giving lie to the notion that triple doubles are meaningful statistics to track, as though they influence game outcomes.

I want them to have that chip on their shoulder and I want them all to spend the weekend at a Arnie Kander run health spa.
