I'm not sure he ever learned that lesson, but he was great for the Knicks. Everything I've read about and heard from Dolan indicates he was born that way. Right now my only hope as a Knick fan is that he'll start buying people out in anticipation of LeBron and the rest of the class of 03 hit free agency. As bad as Isiah is, the Knicks have never had a GM who understood the salary cap. Lattrell Spreewell is one of the tragic stories of the NBA.
