Lattrell Spreewell is one of the tragic stories of the NBA. I'm not sure he ever learned that lesson, but he was great for the Knicks.

Everything I've read about and heard from Dolan indicates he was born that way. Right now my only hope as a Knick fan is that he'll start buying people out in anticipation of LeBron and the rest of the class of 03 hit free agency.

As bad as Isiah is, the Knicks have never had a GM who understood the salary cap.

The key apparently is . . . for Rodman . . . he keeps playing the game, by that Times article. Since it's a 'basketball' hall of fame, and he's still 'active,' then he's ineligible to be considered.

joe from jersey, i was a knicks fan until MSG head James Dolan had a lobotomy and hired Isaiah. I don't wish to sell a bad product to anyone because it would indicates that the product has some value to it. Starbury plays street ball and hasn't learn how to play team sport. He needs to be unemployed to learn a lesson. Remember Lattrell Spreewell?

Kyle,

You pity me? I know what his credentials are. I know what the stats are. Rodman was never known to be a scorer. He was a rebounder, plain and simple. Yet his last 2 years in the league, he played 23 games with LA and was averaging 11.2 RPG and was cut after 2 months. The following year with Dallas, he played in 12 games averaging 14.3 RPG and was cut after a month. Certainly someone with all those credentials you listed and probably some that you didn't list who was averaging double digit rebounds per game wouldn't be cut unless for personal reasons.

Now, let's get to the real point. Rodman has been HOF eligible for what...2-3 years now? He last played in the 99-00 season. He's still not in the hall and here's an interesting article for you to read

http://www.nytimes.com/2007/02/11/sports/basketball/11rodman.html?pagewanted=print

So my question to you is, if Rodman is known for all those accolades that you listed, why does half that article mention his off court antics?
FYI, I have no issues with Rodman at all. So don't think I am doing this to bash him cause that's not what I am doing.
