First the good news: Detroit’s predicted to make the Finals. Now the bad news: so are the Utah Jazz.

ALL BOUT DETROIT BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hahaha.
Just the Finals match that nobody in the national media wanted to see.
Or any of us, really. The Jazz have our number…
at least pistons-spurs would have the “nobody wanted to see pistons-spurs” storyline to it.
tedwick: I said it in another thread, and I really feel like their choke job last night cements it, there is something wrong with the Spurs amidst the ultra-competitive West this year. If they stay where they’re seeded today, they have to win on the road against the top 3 seeds in the West (barring upsets) just to reach the NBA Finals. They held a 22 point lead over Boston last night at home, and they laid an egg. As the guys on PTI might say, they are “strug-a-lingggg”. With a record of 5-6 in March and four straight losses (admittedly, against 3 great teams and a streaking Philly club), it doesn’t look like they’re “gearing up for the playoffs” right now.
Yeah, the Spurs are not looking good. Orlando beat Cleveland last night too. So it’s looking like we’ll be getting a heavy dose of Superman. Perhaps, Kid Rock should start dating Denise “Black Man’s Kryptonite” Richards.
And bring her to the game.
