From Ryan Pretzer on Pistons.com:
And that’s why Wallace’s own coach, Flip Saunders, has a similar view of Wallace’s court behavior. “He’s caught some criticism from people from the last game, but I thought he had a great game,” Saunders said. “That’s his personality. The game should be fun. Guys that are extremely talented, the game comes somewhat easy to them, that’s kind of their outlet that keeps them motivated. So he’s a guy that’s always been like that and people always question what he does, but he produces.”
Agreed. It looks bad because he missed his final shot, but in all the criticism people forget he came through with one of his best games of the season (24 points, nine boards and seven freakin’ blocks) on a night too many other people faded.

Some of the passes into the block that Rasheed received were actually pretty amazing to watch up close. Those Philly defenders really make themselves dangerous to poke it away from the forward . . . Rasheed did a fantastic job of receiving and controlling that ball while near the basket.
People are looking for a “scapegoat”, if it’s not Flip Saunders they can blame, they will pick on the guy who shows the most irrational behavior (at times) and that would be Rasheed. Just like they did in last year’s EFC, they are doing it now. If it wasn’t for that meltdown he had in the last game of that series, I would say he was the only Piston who actually gave a damn. Funny thing is, it still seems that way. Hopefully, things will change Wednesday, hopefully.
