The Pistons are pulling a Rope-A-Dope, not to screw with Philly, who is a talented, scrappy, hard-working team, but to convince the only team that matters, Boston, that the Stones are through. What Ali did to Foreman, we're pulling on Boston. How else to explain the total lack of focus, energy, rebounding? I'm reluctant to even post this, because it lets the cat out of the bag, but they did such a convincing job of playing dead that no other team, Boston included, will believe it. I did take the precaution of burying this as like the 412th post in a dying thread, though. You heard it here first. Obviously, he actually did get hit badly. Thad Young took a very hard foul from Maxiel in probable retaliation and got a bloody nose himself. The rest of the game was very chippy as both teams gave and got hard fouls. Green and Igoudala got knocked very hard on drives.
