I'm pretty sure there's a message board somewhere for U-M Law School students and alumnae to chat. Congrats on getting in Lucas, and thanks for the 20 percent of your comments that centered on the Stones.

Lucas: Congrats on admission to U-M Law School (I'm a grad, albeit a long time ago). Do find Zingerman's. It's not cheap, but it's absolutely fantastic.

What to say about the game? Like the rest of you, I was very down, then somewhat up. I still can't figure this team out. I'm glad we got the win, bravo for Tayshaun, 'Dyess, 'Sheed, Maxiell, and in the second half I guess for Chauncey and Rip (well, the fourth quarter).

Detroit really has to win game 5 at home. And I think they could lose, and we could talk about blowing up the team again when they lose the series. Or they could win the next two games and beat Orlando in five. It's really a mystery to me.

The main bad sign from last night was the continued poor play of the bench. I've been saying SINCE 2004-05 that we really, really need a good backup for Tayshaun. Hayes was inconsistent all year, and hasn't had a good playoff game yet. I don't know why they don't try Herrmann. Tayshaun has been almost superhuman in the last couple of games, but will he run out of gas later on?

Finally, I was out of town and away from TV for most of the weekend -- how the heck to Boston lose to Atlanta?

Still no Amir. I really can't believe that Joe D hasn't said anything about this situation yet. Amir is exactly what the Pistons need when they get lazy and lethargic. Here's to hoping he gets his shot in Game 5.

That 3rd quarter was the most spirited basketball I've seen our boys play in a LONG time. It was in a word..awesome. That said, I am still concerned that we didn't show in the first half. I don't get it and I say concerned because in a different series (Cleveland or Boston) one half of good basketball will not get it done. I also gained some respect for Flipper thanks to the "mic'd up." Down ten in the 2nd he yells "You guys having fun yet?" Awesome. 48 minutes. That should be the new motto.

Forty: You are right to be worried about the non-focused side of the Pistons. The Sixers are teaching them a crucial lesson. Let's hope that they can learn it (and before it's too late).

How dare you guys say Flip should be fired! It's not Flip's fault that this team was throwing lob passes that were being stolen, or that Chauncey missed free throws in Game 1! We can turn it on whenever we want! We don't need Amir to play!

Ok, so I didn't watch Game 2 when they played great, AND I turned the game off at halftime because i was pissed, and they played better the 2nd half...is that a sign? I hope not because I've got tics to the first ECF game at the Palace (but lets not get too ahead of ourselves!)

"I still want to know what happened in the locker room. They tried to find out from Rip but he’s not telling."

Hey Brad, Flip Saunders said that he told the guys at halftime how McDyess - the guy who broke his nose, flew to Detroit, just had surgery, threw up the night before, flew back to Philly - was the only one playing with energy.

Flip said that Dice was also very vocal at the half, the most he's ever seen him. The Pistons won that game for McDyess.

michael, i completely agree that the basketball they played in game 2 and the second half of game 4 would give boston a run for their money in a 7-game series. but i am concerned about game 1, game 3, and the first half of game 4. we are both teams.
