I find it hillarious that Ron Jeremy went all Zen Phil on us at the Game 1 post-game news conference, b&m'ing about the physicality of the Pistons. Maybe he wasn't paying any attention when his '4's' were trying to either box out or defend the post against one of the DP's 4's. All they were doing was putting the maximum amount of force possible on the Pistons players by putting BOTH forearms into the players and shoving with all their might. I guess that's not being physical though. It's not like the Pistons 4's are allowed to hold those guys when Orlando is on offense even though quickness is their edge in the matchup. So PLEASE stop with the whining Ron. If you need a fluffer simply ask. I'm sure J.J. Redick will happily comply with the request.

Brad, I feel like your glass has leaned toward half empty most of the time during the playoffs. We may not blow them out again (and we may), but winning today's game will be just as easy (or just as in hand) from opening tip to final buzzer. We're about 8 hours away from officially being up 2-0.

Hmm, all this "fresh body on Howard" talk (despite sounding like innuendo) sounds a bit arrogant to me. Like "oh we've got Orlando all figured out."

Next game won't be so easy.

It makes me laugh a sadistic-style chuckle when I think of Orlando fans pouting to the thought of not having their "Superman" doing the job he regularly does. I thought the short bursts of energy shot at Howard was an excellent strategy in order not to have to double-team him (although Detroit shouldn't have to with their defensive capabilities).

Also- is it just me, or do all the gayest superhero pet names for players come out of Orlando? Diesel, Superman, am I missing any? After the beating Wallace, Maxiell and friends delivered to Howard, they might want to consider changing his nickname to Wonderwoman.
