(What’s this about? Read this.) Pistons fans are everywhere, they just need to find each other!
If you know where fans in and around New York get together to watch games without feeling outnumbered and/or having to argue with the bartender to change the channel, tell us in the comments. If you don’t know where to find other Pistons fans but wish you could, leave a note and maybe suggest a place.

The sports bars in New York are usually way too packed/expensive/full of frat guy-types to be any good, but I’ve definitely come around to Professor Thom’s in the East Village. Though it’s kind of a Red Sox bar, they have friendly service, lots of tv’s, and were very willing all year to put the Pistons game on if I asked.

I don’t know of any places, but I wouldn’t mind getting together with other Pistons fans and watching games at somebody’s house.
I’m in Brooklyn.
I catch Pistons playoffs games at the generally inoffensive Irish bar One and One (at First Ave. and First St.) in Manhattan. Been tuning in there for years. I can’t say that it’s overrun with ex-Detroiters, but I usually find I’m not the only one cheering for the Pistons. And I will never forget Game 5 of the 2004 Finals, when the place was so loud and joyous that you could almost believe that everyone in New York was actually a diehard Pistons fan. (In reality, it was just all the Laker haters.)
it’s tough…there is no typical detroit bar in the city, so i just head to almost any local sports bar around union square/grammercy for pistons games….been looking for something for lions games in the fall, if anyone has any places they know will play the sound for our games
My friends and I head over to the Turkey’s Nest in williamsburg, Brooklyn to catch the Pistons playoff games. They have plenty of TVs, and the bartenders are always happy to put at least one of them on the game for us. Even better, the Turkey’s Nest offers 32oz styrofoam cups of Coors Light or Bud for $3.50. It is definitely the most fun place in my neighborhood to watch.

Cable TV - the bars are too loud and too smelly to really enjoy the game. I am a Native New Yorker who jumped on the Pistons bandwagon since 2003 and stayed a fan. Besides Zeke, James Dolan and Starbury killed the Knickerbockers…..
i watch on league pass and fsn detroit
Is there a bar in New Jersey where Pistons fans get together to watch games?
If there are any Pistons fans in NJ interested in starting something up, please share your thoughts and suggestions!!!
Thanks,
Mike
Aside from subscribing to NBA League Pass at home and inviting my brother (also a Pistons fan) over for many of the games through out the year… Don’t know of many other Pistons fans in NJ.
I’ve been to Professor Thoms. I believe it’s a UofM bar. I’ve also been to Blondies UWS, which is a Michigan State bar. I’m gonna hit up those two during the ‘Stons/Celts series!
Does anybody know of a place where pistons fans meet and watch the games in Atlanta? I know there are a good number of fans here from the amount of people I see at Hawks games. I’m trying to find out if there is a sports bar or hangout where I can see Game 3.
so professor thoms - safe from bostonians? the ‘red sox bar’ thing had me a little scared. looking for a place to watch tonight, but i’d rather not hang out with celts fans!
I live in the Savannah, GA area……We watch the Stones, Wolverines, Wings………At the “Robin’s Nest” …….Anyone needs directions google it. I’ll be there tonight REPPIN DEEEEEEEEETROIT!
